Ashley Butler (she/her)
Owlservations Web and Graphic Designer
Ashley is a Web/Graphic Designer, Community Development professional and a published youth civic engagement researcher. As a designer, she helps leaders and storytellers share knowledge, inspiration and hope through the design of websites, books, brochures and greeting cards.
Ashley obtained a master’s degree in Urban Planning & Policy and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois-Chicago. She is passionate about advocating for the presence of the arts in communities and the advancement of inner-city youth.
Ashley believes that qualitative and qualitative research are key, both in the design of media and in the creation of strategies to address Community Development concerns.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and learning about different cultures through travel.

Nakia Wilson, MHA (she/her)
Owlservations Events and Marketing Specialist
Nakia is a health equity, diversity & inclusion project manager who leads initiatives to advance health equity and social justice. She oversees language access services, cultural celebrations, with additional responsibilities in diversity and inclusion training, health equity policy development, and diverse executive hiring data analysis at CHRISTUS Health. Her expertise in project management, event planning & marketing, program management, strategic planning, and racial and health equity has earned her a stellar reputation for translating business needs to process, policy, personnel, and technical requirements.
Nakia graduated summa cum laude from Prairie View A&M University with a B.A. in Sociology. She earned her M.H.A. from Texas State University School of Health Administration. She holds several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB), advanced leadership studies, diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and Microsoft Office Specialist Excel, allowing her to successfully lead a wide range of projects.
Nakia enjoys community service and philanthropy. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, where she serves as a committee member on the Diversity & Inclusion Committee for the North Texas Chapter. In her spare time, Nakia enjoys traveling and spending time with her devoted family and friends.
